A nearly impossible-to-find GPU comes inside Lenovo’s new PC, AND with a noteworthy price tag.
If you are into PC gaming at all, you’ve stumbled across a little-known graphics card called the GeForce RTX 3070, which is made by an even lesser-known company called Nvidia.
We’re totally not being sarcastic, by the way. What is sarcasm, again?
Seriously, just like many popular technologies that have been released in the last couple of years, these cards have been increasingly hard to find.
Scalpers are more rampant than ever, and all the cool tech is not being made faster than it’s being bought. PS5’s, Xbox Series X/S’s, and even Nintendo Switches are marked up more than a toddler’s bedroom wall.
So, it’s exciting when something like a machine preinstalled with one of Nvidia’s finest products gets made and sold on an official platform like Lenovo. The item in question is called the Legion Tower 5i, and it’s looking like a beast of a machine with a reasonable price point.
The Lenovo Legion Tower 5i’s starting wallet chop is $1,649.99. However, with EXTRAFIVE code typed in at checkout, you can bring that price down to $1,567.49. It’s a fantastic deal that many PC gamers are eyeballing right now.

You can put back the feet-rubbing lotion; save that conversation with your wives for another time.
Unfortunately, at the time of writing this post, these machines have already been sold out, with no word on when Lenovo will produce the next batch.
Just as much is to be expected. Between the scalpers, bots, and even honest buyers, something this sparkly and shiny was bound to get snatched up with the quickness of 2020 Sonic’s redesign.
Either way, it means you’ll still have to wait a little longer until more GeForce RTX 3070’s – or any of the RTX, for that matter – come out. As that was the huge selling point of the Lenovo Legion Tower 5i, we’re confident they sold out for similar reasons as the popular Nvidia graphics cards.
